2Ajlun Castle (Qala'at ar-Rabad)
Proceed to Ajloun and visit Ajlun Castle, a 12th-century fortress built by the forces of Salah al-Din to defend the region from the Crusaders. The castle overlooks three major routes leading into northwest Jordan and offers panoramic views of the surrounding forests and villages. Average visit time: 1 hour. Admission not included.

Later on, continue to Umm Qais, one of Jordan’s most impressive Greco-Roman archaeological sites. Explore the ancient ruins of the Decapolis city of Gadara, now known as Umm Qais, and enjoy panoramic views overlooking the Sea of Galilee, the Golan Heights, and northern Jordan.
