    Temple of Karnak

Explore the well-preserved temple complex of Karnak on the East Bank of the Nile. We start our journey with Karnak Temples, the greatest example of worship in history and dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. Amon is considered the hidden God and only his effects in the material world are visible. Mut is the consort of Amon. As the world mother, Mut was considered to be the great maternal power who conceived and gave birth to everything. Khonsu is the fruit of Mut and Amon who represented the different phases of the moon.
