For those arriving with their own transportation, meeting at Family Bakery 15 minutes before the activity starts. There is a parking lot with lots of space near by. The bus stop from Fira or from Perissa or Akrotiri is in front of the bakery.

With proper respect to the local varieties, they are focused on limited production bottlings. Gavalas Winery vinifies the most vibrant variety in Greece, Assyrtiko, as well as Aidani, Mandilaria, and Mavrotragano. In order to show the richness of the land, they are the only winery in Santorini that vinifies the indigenous rare varieties of Katsano and Voudomato.

Venetsanos Winery is located right above the port of Athinios, overlooking the magnificent caldera of Santorini. The Venetsanos family has a very long tradition of producing wine. Originally was produced for the island and subsequently, it was exported extensively, particularly to countries such as Russia. It was built in 1947 by the Venetsanos family and became the first industrial winery on the island. Its most distinguishing feature is the structural design, which essentially used gravity, facilitating energy efficiency, at a time when access to electricity and other energy sources was very limited.
