Behind monument of saint Wenceslas there is building of national museum, middle of 19th century. Inside you can find s lot of historicalitems like dinosaurus bonds, remains of Celtic and Slavic tribes, which are use to be settled on territory of Czech, folk costumes atc.

You came to one of the best highlights in Old Town - Tyn Church. It looks like stones monster among small colorful houses....
This is nice palace with pink facade - Kinsky palace, baroque epoch. The nicest epoch in Central Europe. At that time people started decorat their houses, facades and interiors with gold and stucco, sculptures and bas-reliefs. The nobles decorated their clothes too. Ladies wore the crinolines, the corsets, wide skirts. Use to made high hairstyles, wore the perukes and decorated with a flowers their outfits.
Previously it was the main square in Old Town, it was a market. Merchants always came here and sold their goods. Townspeople came here to buy something, to observe other people, to share city’s news. Also here was a place for executions too. The criminals were executed on this square. To watch the executions use to come here the whole families with a small kids even! Because it was like a show at that time....
On the left side of the clock, three buildings located next to each other are the new town hall of the old city. Currently there is a museum here - the interiors of the town hall and the dungeon of the Old Town. A most interesting museum! And I highly recommend you visit it. You will see underground houses, shops, wells and a prison too...
The next of your trip is small square, called "Small square". It had been market many years ago. In the middle there is a golden lattice from 16th century over former well. Over time, a water pump was built here, which is now not functioning. It says, the criminals were seating here inside. And townspeople threw at them row aggs and tomatoes, just for fun...
In the 17th century, this temple was donated to the Dominicans, who still doing worships here to this day. Organ concerts are also held here for tourists.
The bridge, that you see in front of you, is the oldest one. But not first one. Before Charles bridge here was another one stones bridge, called Juditha’s bridge, from 12th century. All, that is left of it - is little bridge’s tower on Lesser Town side...
Ahead you see two towers. These are the towers of Charles Bridge. On the left side there is a small tower from the previous bridge, from the twelfth century. The right tower is higher. This tower already belongs to the Charles Bridge. Its construction was completed in the 15th century....
