    El Calafate

    This morning you will meet your private guide and start a scenic drive to Los Glaciares National Park. As you drive along the Patagonian steppe for 40 km (25 miles), your guide will provide some relevant information about the park which houses the majestic Perito Moreno glacier. On the way, take some pictures at the 'Curve of Sighs', and you will discover the meaning of its name... **Please bring: Gloves, hat, sunglasses, comfortable shoes and clothes, sunscreen, waterproof jacket, water.

    Upon arrival at Los Glaciares National Park, your guide will explain the different walkway options so that you can tour them according to your interest.

    The National Park features a system of walkways that allow visitors having access to various viewing balconies that showcase the glacier from different angles, permitting visitors to enjoy this incredible natural show. You will be amazed not only by the impressive glacier but also by the typical tree vegetation of the Andean Patagonian forest. You will go to the main balcony and then walk freely with the guide for approximately 3 hours. For lunchtime, the National Park offers a service area with a restaurant and a snack bar (lunch not included).

    Lago Argentino

    Optional: If you choose the option including the Safari Boat ride, you will take a 1-hour navigation through Rico Branch of Lago Argentino for a different perspective of this impressive glacier. Watch closely to see slabs of ice detach from the glacier and slide into the surrounding lake. As you sail along the massive glacier wall that rises 240 feet above Argentino lake and in between floating icebergs, your guide will continue to provide information about this natural wonder (optional, the guide can stay out of this part of the tour upon request). *Shared service

    To further add to your experience, and once you end up with your walk on the paths, or making the navigation, you will make a stop at this magical lookout called 'Velo de Novia' or 'Bridal Veil'.

    After you finish exploring the park, relax on the returning drive to El Calafate, where your full-day tour will conclude in the early evening, at approximately 5 p.m., depending on your interest, the pick-up time you choose or the climatological conditions. ****Schedules may vary, according to traffic, weather, amount of people inside the park, etc.
