Hells gate day hike offers visitors a chance for game viewing on a bicycle and you can ride around the park surrounded by hordes of wild animals like buffalo, giraffes, zebra, and impala. Hells gate hiking park is one of the best hiking places around Nairobi and it’s popular due to its relative proximity to Nairobi.
A boat ride on lake Naivasha takes you close up with the hippos in the water and you will be able to watch them at a close point as they rest among the reeds. There are also hundreds of birds to see in the lake including the famous fish eagle and the cormorants. The shores of the lake is littered with wildlife including buffalos, zebras, giraffes among others.

1Hell's Gate National Park
Hells gate National park day trip is a perfect way to enjoy watching wildlife while walking or riding a bike. It is one of the few national parks where hiking is allowed and it has amazing features including deep gorges, red colored cliffs, rock towers among others. Day Trip itinerary: 7:00am: Early pick up by our driver guide from your hotel 8:30am: Stop over at the Great Rift Valley view point. 10:00am: Arrival at the hells gate national park bike riding (optional) and walking safari. Your guide will assist you to hire a good bike for the hells gate bike ride. Hells gate guided walking safari start immediately from the gate in the company of an experienced guide. 12:30pm: Exit Hells gate and proceed to Marina Seaside Restaurant for your Lunch. 2.00pm: Enjoy an optional boat ride and see hippos, birds, and the best views of the mountains beyond. Optional visit to Crescent Island for a walking safari. 3:00pm : Start your drive back to Nairobi. Drop off at your hotel.

2Lake Naivasha
Lake Naivasha boat ride day trip is a full day excursion in the Lake Naivasha –a beautiful rift valley fresh water lake and popular day trip getaway. It is a favorite 1 day excursion from Nairobi to go and enjoy a boat ride in this magnificent lake. A one day trip to Lake Naivasha can also include a walking safari on the crescent island among giraffes, zebras, gazelles and many other animals.

3Crescent Island Game Park
Crescent Island Game Sanctuary is an island on the eastern side of Lake Naivasha. A haven for giraffes, water-bucks, elands, wildebeests, zebras, impalas and hippos are among the wildlife one is likely to find at the conservancy. You can only get to the island using a boat and it is one of the places you can do a walking safari.
