Combine the most sacred site of the ancient world with one of the most sacred sites of the modern world in this leisurely-paced, three-day journey that goes from Athens to Delphi to the hanging monasteries of Meteora and back again. This spirit quest includes visits to the 10th century Byzantine church of Ossios Loukas and the charming ski resort village of Arachova before entering the realm of Apollo, the oracle of Delphi, once considered to be the center of the universe.

    Depart from Syntagma square at 7:40AM Travel from Athens in the direction of the village of Distomo along the route of the Byzantine monastery of Hosios Loukas. Founded in the mid-10th century, the monastery is one of the most important monuments of Middle Byzantine architecture and art, and has been listed on UNESCO's World Heritage Sites since 1990
