Travel to the historic heart of Boyacá and discover the places where Colombia’s independence was forged. From your hotel in Bogotá, begin a journey filled with history, landscapes, and colonial charm.

The first stop is the Boyacá Bridge, a symbol of freedom marked by an obelisk and triumphal arch. Then continue to Tunja, former Muisca capital and colonial jewel, to visit the Founder’s House, the House of Notary Juan de Vargas, and the Church of Santo Domingo.

After lunch, the route leads to Villa de Leyva, one of Colombia’s most beautiful towns, with cobbled streets, colonial houses, and museums that preserve 17th-century heritage. The day concludes at the Convent of Santo Ecce Homo, founded in 1620, where time seems to stand still between faith and tradition.
