Your final stop takes you to the heart of the Robola Wine-Growing Zone at Orealios Gaea, formerly known as the Kefalonian Robola Wine Cooperative. Founded in 1982 by local winemakers from Omala and surrounding villages, the cooperative was created to protect and promote the exceptional potential of Kefalonia’s vineyards. Today, Orealios Gaea is one of Greece’s newest and most dynamic viticultural cooperatives, with 300 members and responsible for receiving 80% of Robola grapes from the Designation of Origin zone. During your visit, learn about the rare terroir, traditional practices, and modern oenological techniques that define Robola wines.
