Let me tell you more about the history of Jewish communities in the Netherlands and how this city and the whole country accepted and absorbed many typically Jewish characteristics that became part of the everyday language, cuisine as examples of great coexistence.
Get to know better and deeper about kind of living, secret shelter, solidarity, diary of young teenage girl Anne within Nazi German occupation of Amsterdam and hear more about economical importance and influence of Jewish investments on development within Golden Ages of Mokum (Jewish name for Amsterdam) within 17th century.

Two buildings, two Holocaust museums, two related monuments telling upsetting story about suffering, disaster and genocide of one population but at the same time places where human courage and selflessness were expressed. IMPORTANT INFORMATION !!! Building of Hollandsche Schouwburg alias Dutch Theater and Holocaust Memorial building are under construction until 2024. Even that it is not possible to visit interior of these museums they are considered as stop points of this tour. History, meaning and background of these buildings are tight related with Holocaust. Your guide's personal opinion is that it would be interesting, at least, to hear the story and facts about them illustrated by (guide's) personal photo collection. Additional information about the end of buildings reconstructions and availability to visit them would be provided.

4Jewish Historical Museum and JHM Children’s Museum
