We will begin our journey in Kazimierz, where we will discover iconic synagogues such as the Old Synagogue and the Remuh Synagogue, learning about the history and legends of Jewish Krakow. Crossing the Father Bernatek footbridge, we will go to the Podgórze district, where we will visit monuments commemorating the Jewish Ghetto that was located in this area during World War II.

This is where we'll begin our tour. This was the former market square of the royal city of Kazimierz.

We will visit a museum dedicated to Jewish culture and traditions located in the oldest preserved synagogue in Poland.
The former Wolf Popper Synagogue. It now houses a bookstore. Books, maps, and other souvenirs related to the Jewish Quarter are available for purchase.
The synagogue was built for the famous Rabbi Moses Isserles (Remuh). We will tour the interior of this still-functioning synagogue and the nearby cemetery.
The synagogue was founded by Isaac Jakubowicz. It was once the richest and most impressive synagogue in the Kazimierz district.
The Kupa Synagogue, built with funds from the Jewish community, once adjoined the city walls of Kazimierz.
The Progressive Synagogue (Temple) was built in the 19th century. We will visit its richly decorated interior.
The famous footbridge connecting Kazimierz and Podgórze. Decorated with eye-catching sculptures suspended in mid-air.
We will visit the memorial sites of the Jewish ghetto, walking along Józefińska Street (the former main street of the ghetto), Lwowska Street (remains of the ghetto walls), and our tour will end at the Ghetto Heroes Square, commemorating the tragic events of the liquidation of the ghetto.
