The Golden Circle was one of the first travel routes developed in Icelandic tourism, thanks to the location of Geysir, the first documented geyser in Europe, and the unique geological wonders found along the route. Travelers can walk between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates while learning about the geology and volcanic formation of Iceland, the world’s second-largest island.
This unforgettable journey tells the story of the birth of Iceland as a nation, its dramatic landscapes shaped by fire and ice, and the resilience of the Icelandic people, who learned to survive in one of the harshest environments on Earth.
Your guide will recommend a lunch stop at Friðheimar geothermal tomato greenhouse, with reservations arranged upon request. On the way back to Reykjavík, we also stop at Kerið, an extinct volcanic crater, for a short scenic hike around the crater lake.

This classic day tour will take you to three of Iceland's most popular attractions, Gullfoss, Geysir, and Thingvellir National Park. Additionally, we'll visit the geothermal town of Hveragerði and can have lunch at the popular Tomato farm, Friðheimar. 4Kerid Crater
After the Lunch break, we head to Kerið Crater an extinct volcano that erupted 6000 thousand years ago its explosion caused it to collapse on itself, creating a crater that later filled with groundwater. The soil in the area is rich in iron so the colors around create spectacular layers. Estimated time traveling 1:30h

5Fridheimar
Friðheimar is an incredible place that you can not miss while visiting Iceland. It is very popular so booking in advance is needed but doesn't worry if you do not have a booking. you can always visit and eat the marvelous tomato soup or have a tomato bloody mary or tomato beer made with the fresh tomatoes grown in the Friðheimar greenhouse. There is no admission fee, but the food costs aren't included in the tour. Note: This is only a suggested option for lunch and guests must decide if they want to go to Friðheimar restaurant or if the guide can find other food options.
