Tulum - we visit the site in the morning, right when it opens at 9 am, so we won't be swamped with tourists. The Mayan Ruins in Tulum are a magnificent seaport fortress built on a steep ocean cliff. While walking around the ruins, you can also see iguanas and coatis (an animal similar to a raccoon).
Here, you'll explore the lush jungle paths by bicycle or tricycle taxi and admire the architecture in structures like Nohoch Mul, the tallest pyramid in the Yucatan Peninsula.
Our last stop will be Akumal, where we stop for snorkeling with Turtles. We will be searching for 3 of the world’s 7 sea turtle species and exploring the 2nd largest barrier reef in the World.
