This is a short sample of a system that once linked many countries in South America. It includes a 6-hour hike, where you will experience walking a trail built and used many centuries ago. Cultivation terraces, dwellings, temples and viewpoints will be part of our experience. We rest in a hotel in Machupicchu town and the second day we have a full excursion of Machupícchu archaeological site.

Meeting and pickup
Pick-up will be from your hotel in Cusco, provided it is within the city limits. For accommodations located outside this area (such as in the Sacred Valley or rural zones), we can coordinate a central meeting point in Cusco. Please be ready in your hotel lobby at the scheduled time.

1Inca Trail
Early morning departure from Cusco toward Ollantaytambo, followed by a scenic train ride to Km 104, the starting point of the hike. From the very first steps, the trail reveals beautiful Andean landscapes and important archaeological remains, including Chachabamba, before continuing to the impressive site of Wiñay Wayna, considered one of the most stunning complexes along the route. During the hike, a box lunch is included, allowing you to enjoy a well-earned break surrounded by nature. In the afternoon, the trail leads to Inti Punku (Sun Gate), where you will enjoy your first unforgettable panoramic view of Machu Picchu. Bus descent to Aguas Calientes, dinner included at a local restaurant, and overnight at the hotel.

2Machu Picchu
Early in the morning we regroup to return to the Machupícchu Sanctuary. This is a World Heritage Site (UNESCO) and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. In the morning we will make a complete tour of the Inca city. Houses, squares, terraces, viewpoints, temples and spectacular views will be part of our experience. After the tour we take the bus to return to Machupicchu town. In the afternoon we return to Cusco, via train and car.
