Immerse yourself in the spirit of local Christmas and enjoy the lights of the decembrine period, just as the natives of Medellin do, in a narrated tour in which the guide will explain and comment on the meanings of the Christmas lights, inspired by elements of the historical, cultural and natural heritage of Medellin and Colombia, as well as some topics of global interest.
In this walking tour you can observe the presentations of street artists or make purchases in street sales of food or toys and elements alluding to Christmas.
We will make the tour in the Medellin River area, visiting traditional and iconic places such as Guayaquil Bridge and River Parks.
Each participant will have access to download the book "Medellín de Cerca" in digital version. This book has been awarded twice by the Ministry of Culture of Colombia.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Located at the turnstiles of the entrance to the Station, there you will find our guide identified with garments with the logo of our agency. After you make your reservation, we will send you the photo of the guide.
The tour ends at this location. The guide will accompany you until you can take a taxi, Uber or similar means of transportation.

Our guide will explain the meanings of the figures of Christmas lights, inspired by the historical, cultural and natural heritage of Medellin and Colombia, and some topics of worldwide interest as well. In the area you will find artists and street vendors and food outlets. You will have time to observe artistic presentations or make purchases of these products, if you wish.

This is an iconic, traditional and historic place in the city, well visited by locals at Christmas time. We’ll walk along the river’s edge to get here, appreciating the Christmas lightings, local street vendors and artists practices, and sharing historical and cultural information.
