Alto Vista Chapel is a small Catholic chapel that stands on the hills above the north shore of Aruba. The present chapel was completed in 1952 and is located on the exact same location as the original chapel, which was built by the Venezuelan missionary in 1750.Driving thru the dessert area to reach your next stop.
Explore the Bushiribana Gold Mill Ruins, a 19th-century architectural marvel standing as a silent sentinel against the crashing Atlantic waves. Witness the legacy of a multi-million-pound industry at Aruba’s most iconic historical landmark.
The Aruba Natural Bridge was a tourist attraction in Aruba that was formed naturally out of coral limestone. It collapsed on 2 September 2005. The natural arch, measuring approximately 25 feet high and 100 feet long, was the remnant of an ancient cave.
Lined with small and shimmery black eroded stones, Black Stone Beach is the only beach in Aruba boasting “black sand”. Erosion by the water not only created black pebbles but also rather sharp and edgy rocks that both characterize this location. Black Stone Beach lies just east of Boca Andicuri. Beach is quiet and secluded. Swimming or snorkeling here is not recommended, because of the strong currents and high waves at this location.
Located in Pos Chiquito on Aruba's southwestern coast, Mangel Halto is a secluded, locals-favorite beach known for lush mangroves, calm shallow waters, and a sunken ship. It is celebrated as one of the island's best snorkeling and shore diving spots.
