The Larco museum is very special where you will learn and discover more than 5000 years of Peruvian history, through fascinating ceramics, textiles, jewelry, etc.
Our ancestors have left us to know about how they were and how they lived the day. It has an important collection of pre-Columbian objects, as well as incredible ceramics allusive to fertility.

The Larco Museum is one of the most important museums in Lima and the entire country of Peru. It boasts an impressive collection of over 45,000 ceramic pieces that are organized didactically and chronologically, showcasing the birth and evolution of various ancient Peruvian civilizations up to the emergence of the Inca Empire. The museum’s exhibits are arranged into thematic areas, featuring the most complete collection of ceramics, textiles, and gold and silver artifacts, all in exceptional condition and presented beautifully. One of the museum's highlights is its ceramic room dedicated to fertility, often referred to as the "erotic room." This compelling exhibit is a must-see for anyone interested in archaeology, history, and mysticism. Please note that the transfer to the museum takes approximately 22 minutes each way, totaling around 45 minutes of travel time. We will spend about 1 hour and 45 minutes exploring the various areas of this impressive museum.
