Prepare to immerse yourself in the Pachacamac Archaeological Site, the largest and most significant archaeological complex in Lima, Peru, spanning 450 hectares. This monumental area is home to more than 50 architectural structures, primarily built from edged stones, mudbricks of various sizes, and mud walls. Some of the highlights of this site include the Temple of the Chosen Ones, also known as Acllahuasi; the Pyramid with Ramp; the remains of the largest Inca Trail, known as the Qhapaq Ñan (in Quechua); the Palace of Taurichumpi, which served as a management center; the Max Uhle Cemetery, where many mummies were discovered; the Old Temple; the Painted Temple; and the Temple of the Sun, among others.
