This newly organized museum presents the entire cultural history of the Sanctuary of Pachacamac, spanning from approximately 200 AD until the establishment of the Incas in 1470. The tour of this museum serves as an introduction to our visit to the Sanctuary, with each exhibit featuring textiles, ceramics, gold artifacts, and more, highlighting their significance and showcasing key archaeological findings from the site. Following the museum tour, your professional guide will take you to the Pachacamac archaeological site. The experience within this expansive site is sure to leave you in awe.

    Prepare to immerse yourself in the Pachacamac Archaeological Site, the largest and most significant archaeological complex in Lima, Peru, spanning 450 hectares. This monumental area is home to more than 50 architectural structures, primarily built from edged stones, mudbricks of various sizes, and mud walls. Some of the highlights of this site include the Temple of the Chosen Ones, also known as Acllahuasi; the Pyramid with Ramp; the remains of the largest Inca Trail, known as the Qhapaq Ñan (in Quechua); the Palace of Taurichumpi, which served as a management center; the Max Uhle Cemetery, where many mummies were discovered; the Old Temple; the Painted Temple; and the Temple of the Sun, among others. It's impressive to note that this site has been inhabited by various peoples from four main cultural groups: the Lima, Wari, Ychsma, and Inca. We are confident that you will enjoy this tour!
