    Your English speaking driver picks you from the lobby of any hotel in Amman. We recommend 07:00am as start time, because you need approximately three hours to drive to Petra. During the long transfer you can chat with the driver, or relax; we provide also free WiFi and free bottled water. This private tour lasts minimum 11 hours, final tour duration depends on your activity level.

    Your guide from the Visitor Centre Petra waits for you and assists you as quick as possible with the ticket procedures. From the main gate you walk through a narrow canyon to the Treasury, the most popular monument of the Nabatean architecture. Following the main trail you proceed to the Street of Facades, the Theatre, the Royal Tombs and Qasr Al Bint. After buffet lunch at a restaurant you start to follow the route to the Monastery El Deir via 800 stairs. Naturally you need to have an average fitness level to do this part of the tour with your guide. It is worth the effort, and you will be rewarded with the view of El Deir and the vastness of mountains and valleys around the area. Your guide will walk with you back to the restaurant area. He says goodbye and you return the main trail to the entrance gate of Petra on your own.
