Our first destination is the legendary Valley of the Queens, where royal wives and children of pharaohs were laid to rest. Walk in the footsteps of queens as you explore the beautifully decorated tombs carved into the desert hills. Entrance Ticket: EGP 220. Currently, only three tombs are open to visitors: Q.V 44 – Prince Khaemwaset Q.V 52 – Princess Titi Q.V 55 – Prince Amenkopshef Please note: Queen Nefertari’s tomb has been closed since 2nd March 2024.

  Valley of the Artisans (Deir el-Medina)

  We then continue to the remarkable Deir el-Medina, the ancient village of the artisans who built the royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings and Queens. Wander through the well-preserved streets, homes, and workshops to see how these skilled workers lived and worked. Explore the Temple of Hathor, dedicated to the goddess of joy and music, which served as a spiritual center for the village. During your visit, you will explore the tombs of the artisans: Tombs included in the standard ticket (EGP 220): • TT1 – Sennedjem’s Tomb: Known for vivid wall paintings depicting the afterlife and offerings. • TT359 – Inherkhau’s Tomb: Features scenes of family life and the duties of tomb workers. • TT218, TT219 & TT220 – Family Tomb: Shared by multiple family members, with intricate decorations highlighting their roles. Optional tomb with extra ticket (EGP 120): • TT3 – Pashado’s Tomb: Renowned for its detailed decorations and depictions of the artisan’s life.

  Temple of Medinat Habu

  After that, discover the monumental mortuary temple of Ramses III at Medinet Habu Temple. Marvel at towering pylons, intricately carved reliefs, and inscriptions depicting military victories, religious rituals, and the glory of one of Egypt’s greatest pharaohs. Entrance Ticket: EGP 220.

  Tombs of the Nobles

  Following this, visit the private resting places of high officials, priests, and dignitaries at the Tombs of the Nobles. Admire detailed wall paintings and hieroglyphics illustrating ceremonies, family life, and spiritual beliefs, offering a unique window into the lives of those who shaped ancient Egypt behind the scenes. During your visit, you will explore the following tombs: TT55 – Ramose TT52 – Nakht TT69 – Menna TT96 – Sennefer TT100 – Rekhmire Entrance Tickets: EGP 520.

  Ramesseum (Mortuary Temple of Ramses II)

  Finally, conclude your day at the magnificent Ramesseum Temple, the mortuary temple of Ramses II. Stand in awe of colossal statues, towering columns, and intricately carved reliefs celebrating the king’s victories and devotion to the gods. This site captures the grandeur, ambition, and artistic mastery of the New Kingdom era. Entrance Ticket: EGP 220. After visiting the Ramesseum Temple, enjoy a relaxing lunch break at a restaurant of your choice. At the end of your tour, your guide and driver will ensure a comfortable drop-off at your hotel, completing a seamless and unforgettable day of exploring Luxor’s treasures.
