Our skilled instructors take you on an experience-rich tour on calm water in beautiful nature, including a historical background. We give you an introduction to develop your paddling skills and the trip is suitable for everyone, both adults and children.
The tour starts on the beach at Bogstadvannet where the boats are ready. We paddle past Bogstad Manor, a magnificent manor house from the 17th century. Furthermore we paddle up the Sørkedal River, which winds its way into the valley. Here we can paddle upstream on a calm river with exciting nature and wildlife on both sides. The paddling trip continues to the north-east corner of the lake and we disembark at Bjørnsgard, which is a small Norwegian folk-museum with several small log houses and farm buildings. The oldest buildings are up to 800 years old and are among the best preserved in the world. Here we take a short break with coffee, mineralwater and a snack before paddling back.
