  heading after finishing the egyptian museum to cairo citadel which was built in 12th century by salah El din to define cairo from any attacks that could happen. we will have the opportunity to see the citadel and walking around to see the panoramic view from a high point in cairo to see pyramids islamic cairo from that point.

  Mosque of Muhammad Ali

  after checking the citadel and in about of our round there at the citadel we will have the opportunity to go and check one of the most beautiful mosques ever in egypt. when muhammed ali ruled Egypt he started to built a mosque has his name it's called the Alabaster mosque because it's made from Alabaster. we will go inside and check the mosque and see where muhammed Ali coffin and where he was buried inside the citadel.

  Mosque and Madrasa of Sultan Hassan

  one of the writers said before if Egyptians are proud of pyramids they supposed to be proud of That Madrasa. One of the best Islamic icons in all of the world having the chance to recognise the Islamic icon for that lovely school. was built since over 700 years ago with huge walls and people consider that Islamic university.

  Old Cairo

  then moving to old cairo which the oldest spot and historical place in Egypt and one of the oldest spots in the middle east related for more than 2500 years ago. the numerous of those places start with Hanging church and taking around for the place where Virgin Mariam and Jesus passed by that spot.The Hanging Church, or the Church of the Virgin Mary, was built in the 9th century to ‘hang’ high upon the walls of Babylon. The effect of this ‘hanging’ is now diminished significantly as ground levels have risen around the walls. deeper into Coptic Cairo there are several other older churches, including the Church of St. Sergius, which dates from the 5th century and was supposedly built upon the site of a crypt where the Holy Family (Jesus, Mary, and Joseph) to shelter during their time in Egypt. Even further back is Ben Ezra Synagogue. This is the oldest synagogue in Cairo, founded in the 9th century.

  The Hanging Church

  The Hanging Church is also referred to as the Suspended Church or Al-Moallaqa. It is called the Hanging Church because it was built on the southern gate of the Roman Fortress. Logs of palm trees and layers of stones were constructed above the ruins of the Roman fortress to be used as a fundament. The Hanging Church is a unique church and has a wooden roof in the shape of Noah’s ark. From the 7th century to the 13th century, the Hanging Church served as the residence of the Coptic Patriarch. Al-Moallaqa has witnessed important elections and religious ceremonies.

  Church of St. Sergius and Bacchus

  The Church of Saint Sergius and Bacchus, also known as Abu Serga, is built upon an ancient Roman fort in Old Cairo. The history of the church is still being debated. Some scholars believe that it dates to the late fourth to early fifth centuries AD, while others believe that it should approximately be dated to 17th century AD.This church has acquired a special religious status among Coptic churches because it is associated with the Holy Family's journey through Egypt.

  Ben ‘Ezra Synagogue is the oldest synagogue in Egypt. It was once the center of many celebrations, congregations and prayers, but is no longer in use today. The synagogue is named after Abraham ibn ‘Ezra, the Jewish religious scholar and philosopher.
