Embark on a drive for 2-3 hours to Jinja city. Check in at your lodge and head to the source of the Nile for a boat ride to view the origin of the longest river in the world, Visit a stand at the point where John Speke first saw the Nile as you take pictures, at end of the day, you will return to your lodge for an overnight stay.
Sipi Falls is a stunning series of three waterfalls located in the eastern region of Uganda. The falls are known for their picturesque beauty and offer opportunities for hiking, birdwatching, and stunning views of the surrounding landscapes. You will transfer to Sipi Falls through Mbale and Bugisu region. Upon arrival in the afternoon, you will hike to the point of view of Wagagai peak of Mt Elgon and then hike to Sipi Falls. Later, you will check in at your lodge and spend the evening at leisure.
You will transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park, arriving in the evening. Kidepo National Park is a remote and rugged wilderness located in the northeastern region of Uganda. It is renowned for its vast savannah landscapes, diverse wildlife including lions, elephants, and giraffes, and the unique culture of the indigenous Karamojong people. On arrival , you will check in and enjoy your evening at leisure, taking in the natural beauty and tranquility of the park
Game viewing is key to this park. You will embark on an early morning game drive to observe the wildlife. After returning to your lodge for lunch, you will visit a local community to experience the Karamojong lifestyle. Later, you will head for an evening game drive to further explore the wildlife, and then return to your lodge for an overnight stay.
You will head southwards to Murchison Falls National Park, with the drive taking around 6-7 hours, including a lunch break along the way. Upon arrival later in the evening, you will check in at your lodge and then head out for an evening game drive. Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda's largest national park, known for its diverse wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, lions, and a breathtaking waterfall where the Nile River is forced through a narrow gap in the rock, creating a powerful cascade.
You will embark on an early morning game drive, followed by a lunch break. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a boat cruise to the bottom of the falls, and later drive to the top of the falls for viewing. Finally, you will return to your lodge for an overnight stay.
You will drive to Kibale National Park, known as the primate capital of the world. Upon arrival at your lodge in the evening, you can enjoy your evening at leisure. Kibale Forest is a biodiverse area, home to a wide variety of primates, including chimpanzees, as well as other wildlife and bird species. The park offers opportunities for primate tracking, birdwatching, and nature walks amidst its lush vegetation and diverse ecosystems.
You will embark on a morning forest walk tracking the chimpanzees and other inhabitants such as the red-tailed monkey, mantled guereza, olive baboons, and L'Hoest's monkey. After the tracking, you will transfer back to Entebbe or Kampala to end your safari experience.
