It's not just a jungle tour: for 3 days and 2 nights you will live the Amazon from a local community, staying on the banks of the Amazon River. You will navigate the Nanay, Momón, Amazon, and Yanayacu rivers, meet Amazonian communities, observe wildlife, look for pink dolphins, explore the jungle day and night, and live cultural experiences. Everything with Amazon View Lodge as your little house on the Amazon River.

Pickup details:

The service includes pickup at Iquitos International Airport or at hotels located in the city of Iquitos, at the established times. To start the full program on the first day, we recommend flights arriving in Iquitos before 7:30 a.m. The exact time and pickup point will be coordinated in advance with the traveler.
For passengers arriving on the first flights in the morning, we offer pickup at Iquitos International Airport. Our staff will be waiting for you at the exit with the Iquitos Experience Tours uniform and your accreditation. They will then be transferred to our branch located at the Macambo Hotel, where we will offer them a complimentary breakfast before starting the program to the Amazon River.

    Nanay, Momón, and Amazon Rivers: Amazonian culture and nature

    Nanay River

    The experience will begin with a visit to the Nanay Producers Market, one of the most authentic spots in Iquitos. It will know Amazonian fruits such as aguaje, camu camu, and cocona, in addition to traditional products and flavors from different communities of the Amazon.

    Nanay River

    The navigation through the dark waters of the Nanay River, one of the main rivers of Iquitos, will begin. During the tour, it will pass under the imposing Nanay Bridge and observe the Amazonian landscape before continuing towards the Momón River.

    The adventure will continue navigating the Momón River, an Amazon tributary surrounded by abundant tropical vegetation and riverside communities. During the tour, you will enjoy the landscapes and get to know another side of the Amazon of Iquitos. Bora Community Visit a Bora community to learn about their traditions, cultural expressions, and their ancestral relationship with the jungle and the Amazon rivers. Piranha Aquarium It will know representative species of the Amazonian aquatic ecosystems, such as piranhas, palometas, acarahuazú, and the surprising electric eel. Nanay–Amazon confluence Observe the meeting of the dark waters of the Nanay River with the waters of the Amazon River, appreciating the contrast between both currents.

    Navigation on the Amazon River Continue navigating the majestic Amazon River, enjoying its landscapes and the life of the communities settled on its banks. Pedrito's Background Visit this traditional attraction in Barrio Florido to observe pacu fish, Amazonian caimans, and the Amazon Victoria, famous for its enormous floating leaves. Amazon View Lodge – Art and community Arrive at Amazon View Lodge to enjoy the landscape facing the Amazon River and experience painting on wooden crafts made by Amazonian families. Night walk As night falls, I will explore the surroundings in search of nocturnal fauna, such as tarantulas, stick insects, praying mantises, amphibians, and other Amazonian species.

    Yagua Community: It will know aspects of the Yagua culture, its customs, traditions, and its ancestral relationship with the Amazon rainforest. Sunset and swimming in the Amazon River: We will contemplate the sunset over the Amazon and will have the possibility of swimming in its waters, depending on the season and conditions. Movie night, Amazonian myths and legends: He will close the day on the banks of the Amazon with a film and stories experience about the myths and legends of Amazonian culture.

    Sunrise and dolphin watching on the Amazon River

    Sail at dawn on the Amazon River in search of pink and gray dolphins, while observing birds and the awakening of the Amazon. Yanayacu River – Jungle of Mirrors We will navigate the dark waters of the Yanayacu, known for its impressive reflections and landscapes surrounded by Amazonian vegetation. Hike in primary forest and giant tree We will enter the primary forest to take an interpretive hike to one of the giant trees of the Amazon, with the possibility of observing wildlife in the wild. Neyser Sanctuary and artisanal trapiche We will get to know Amazonian species such as sloths, anacondas, and capybaras, in addition to traditional drinks made with Amazonian barks and plants.
