Join us for a four-day journey into the Amazon, offering an extended opportunity to uncover its mysteries. Encounter pink river dolphins, discover medicinal plants, and relax in an eco-lodge deep in the jungle. This is an Amazon experience like no other.

Pick-up from your hotel and transfer to Bellavista Nanay Port. On board our comfortable and safe typical boat, the journey along the Amazon River will allow you to enjoy a wonderful panorama where the magnificence of the river makes its way through the lush jungle. Dolphin Watching: Grey or pink dolphins can be seen during the journey.
Visit to the “Indigenous Community – KUKAMA TRIBE“: We will visit and dance with them, as they have been guardians of the region’s biodiversity, using their deep knowledge of plants and natural medicine to survive in this challenging environment. Additionally, their rich oral tradition has transmitted stories and myths that explain their origin and their relationship with nature.
ISLA DE LOS MONOS – Neyser: Continuing our navigation through the Amazon, we will enter a creek to visit monkeys in their natural habitat. Upon arrival, we will be welcomed by various monkey species that inhabit this place, where we can learn about them, feed them, play, and take photos with them… in their natural habitat!
Arrival at our Lodge where a brief explanation about the sustainability rules of the lodge and its surroundings will help you better understand the jungle. Lunch: Typical jungle dishes. (Please inform us in advance for vegetarian options)
SWIMMING IN THE AMAZON: After lunch, we will have a 30-minute break before heading to enjoy the refreshing waters of the Amazon River, its beaches, and the mud bath ritual with black clay.
AMAZONIAN SUNSET: Observation of the beautiful sunset over the Amazon (weather permitting) and dolphin watching (seasonal).

NIGHT EXCURSION: Through the lush jungle to observe different species of insects, tarantulas, frogs, scorpions, monkeys, and nocturnal birds.
AMAZONIAN SUNRISE: Observation of the sunrise and listening to and spotting different bird species.

RESCUE CENTER: We will head to the Wildlife Rescue Center (“Fundo Rony”) to observe and interact with some of the wild animal species such as sloths, monkeys, macaws, toucans, boa constrictors, and turtles. This is an interesting way to learn to value and respect the typical Amazonian wildlife. Reminder: In this center, these animals are kept in cages because they are cared for a few days before being released.
AMAZONIAN DISTILLERY: Tasting of artisanal macerations such as camu camu, 7 roots, and ginger, providing an opportunity to benefit from their medicinal properties. These infusions are packed with health benefits such as strengthening the immune system thanks to the vitamin C in camu camu, improving digestion, and promoting vitality with 7 roots, and relieving digestive discomfort and nausea with ginger.
PIRANHA FISHING: Then we will prepare for our artisanal fishing tour, where the guide will teach us local piranha fishing techniques using the same materials that Amazonian locals use for subsistence. Self-service lunch with typical jungle dishes.

NIGHT CANOEING: We will head out in a canoe to search for caimans. We will learn about their role in nature, then release them back into their habitat.

BOTANICAL WALK: We will embark on a botanical walk to learn about the main trees and medicinal plants found in the Amazon.
YANAYACU RIVER NAVIGATION: We will embark on a peque peque boat to navigate the Yanayacu River. This remote corner of the jungle harbors an astonishing biodiversity, with lush forests, winding rivers, and a variety of unique wildlife.
GIANT TREE TRAIL: Our goal is to reach the giant tree where we can make a wish to Mother Nature beneath the roots of the Lupuna tree.
YAGUAS INDIGENOUS TRIBE: Whose ancestors were discovered by Francisco de Orellana during his first exploration of the Amazon in 1541. This visit will allow you to learn about their ancestral customs, admire their original clothing made from palm fibers, and even test your aim with the “pucuna” (blowgun) that the Yaguas have used for centuries for hunting.

VISIT TO RIVERSIDE VILLAGE: After lunch, our guide will indicate the exact time to start our new activity, and we will visit the village of Fátima where we can learn a bit more about this riverside community along the Amazon River.

AMAZONIAN TALES: At night we will hear stories about Amazonian myths, tales, and legends, which are an integral part of the local Loreto identity, such as: (Yacuruna, Sachamama, Chullachaqui).
Breakfast
BUTTERFLY HOUSE: After breakfast, we will head to the San Rafael Butterfly House, which is a farming community. At the butterfly house, we will discover different butterfly species. It is truly a magical place that immerses you in the fleeting beauty of butterflies. This captivating butterfly sanctuary is a hidden gem that offers a unique experience in the heart of nature.
Self-service lunch at the Lodge with typical jungle dishes. After lunch, take some time to relax or enjoy the pool. At the appropriate time, we will board our boat to head back to Iquitos.
Return to the city of Iquitos.
