    Nairobi to Maasai Mara

    At 8 am, you will be picked up from your hotel within the city centre/Westland area and commence the drive to Maasai Mara via the Great Rift Valley view point where you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the rift valley.

    Maasai Mara National Reserve

    Arrive in time for lunch. In the evening at 4.00pm depart for a sunset game viewing drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve where chances of seeing the big cats is extremely high, ends at 6:00pm. Return back to the camp/lodge for a sumptuous buffet dinner ending with good time for resting.

    Full Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara Reserve

    Maasai Mara National Reserve

    Have breakfast at 6:30 am and at 7 am, leave for a full day game viewing in the park. On this day, spend the full day exploring Maasai Mara in search of the big five, hippos and Nile crocodile. Thereafter, go for picnic lunch in park under a croton tree shade overlooking the vast landscape of the park. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and vultures.

    You will have an early breakfast and depart by 7am to straight to the park. Its a small park with magnificent, rare white rhinos which form part of the Big five animals. There is also a possibility to see the pink flamingos. The game drive lasts 3 hours, after which you will depart for Naivasha .You will have lunch on the way .

    Aberdare National Park

    then you will be picked up by your driver for a private safari to Aberdare National park arriving in time for lunch at Aberdares Country Club. After lunch you are transferred to the park by the lodge vehicle. The park provides a habitat for elephants, black rhinos, leopards sported hyenas, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, buffalos and many more. Rare sightings include those of the Giant Forest Hogs, bongos and many types of big cats. You can indulge in picnics, trout fishing in the river and camping in the moorlands. You can also enjoy bird viewing with over 250 species of birds in the park.

    Aberdare to Nairobi
