This day tour takes you in the morning to Zaanse Schans. When you arrive this village, we will take you to a Dutch cheese factory to try all different Dutch 'Gouda' Cheeses and a wooden shoe factory to see clog making. After that you will travel to Giethoorn, you will discover this 'Green Venice' of Holland and enjoy typical Dutch local lunch and one hour boat cruise in Giethoorn. You will of course have your own free time at these two places to take beautiful photos and discover the village by yourselves.
You will expect a luxurious and comfortable mini bus for this day tour. A bottled water will be provided to each traveler. Power bank, napkin, umbrella are provided and free to use during the whole trip.

Meeting and pickup
This meeting point is 5 minutes walk from Amsterdam Central Station, north east direction near the ferry and cruise terminal. Please be prepared and wait at the meeting point from 7:45. Our vehicle will leave at 8:00. If the meeting point is changed, we will contact you one day before to confirm.

1Zaanse Schans
When you arrive Zaanse Schans this windmill village, you will visit a Dutch wooden shoes factory, we will show you a live demonstration of making wooden shoe by a traditional clog maker. After that, you will have a guided tour to the Dutch cheese experience, to know how to make Gouda cheese in the traditional way. You have chance to taste more than 30 different flavors of cheese. After that, you will have your own free time to get close to the windmills and take a lot of photos.

2Kooijman Souvenirs & Clogs Wooden Shoe Workshop
At this attraction, you would expect to see a live demonstration of making wooden shoe by a traditional clog maker, get to know the history of wooden shoes, and see different types of wooden shoes. You could have wooden shoes try-on here with different paintings / colors. Of course you can take as many photos as you want.

3Catharina Hoeve Cheese Farm
You would experience this old cheese farm/factory by having a demonstration to understand how to make traditional Dutch cheese, get to know the history of this cheese farm, and cheese tasting for more than 30 different flavors.

4Giethoorn
After visiting Zaanse Schans, you will travel to Giethoorn by an air-conditioned bus. It is about 2 hours drive. When you arrive Giethoorn, you will have lunch time. We will give you different lunch options during the trip. You have chance to try typical Dutch lunch or local food. After your lunch, you would have 1 hour boat cruise in the canals. You would explore the ‘Green Little Venice’ of the Netherlands. You will enjoy a lot of free time to explore the sights by yourself and your loved ones. We include local lunch and 1 hour boat cruise here.
