Our first stop will be at the Ahau hotel in Tulum where South African artist Daniel popper known for his massive figurative sculptures has constructed a new artwork. The towering installation is titled "Ven a la Luz."
You will get a guided tour of the ruins site by expert guides, giving you an in-depth understanding of the significance of this city from centuries past, and the Mayan culture that it contained.
This ancient Mayan site is different from the other archaeological big sites in Yucatan. First of all, it's situated by four natural lakes, which is a rare sight in the Yucatan. These lakes are believed to have given the city its name, which means "Waters stirred by wind". Furthermore, it is not as excavated nor reconstructed as Chichen Itza or Tulum. Coba still has a number of big structures covered with the growth of the jungle, making it a wild place that truly triggers your imagination
Near the archaeological site we will stop in a cenote named Wayak where you will have lunch and enjoy the pristine waters of the cenote
our last stop is at Playa del Carmen where you will have time to shop on the beautiful 5th avenue. this stop for shopping is only available for people staying in Cancun. if your hotel is located at tulum or the Mayan Riviera this stop will not be available.
