Panathenaic Stadium The ancient Panathenaic Stadium, also known as Kallimarmaro, has a rich history. It’s the ancient stadium of Athens, first built in 330 BC (rebuilt in 144 AD), and was the main venue of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. It is the only stadium built entirely of white marble.

    National Garden

National Garden The National Garden, once called the Royal Garden, covers a vast area of about 38 acres and is the perfect place for a peaceful walk. Although it’s located in the most central spot of the city, it remains quiet and relaxing. The Garden boasts hundreds of different species of plants, many ancient ruins and the Zappeion Hall, a large palatial building of the 19th century. Beautiful walk with plenty to see!
