  The Panathenaic Stadium, also known as Kallimarmaro, is an iconic stadium located in Athens. It's one of the most significant historical sites in the city. What makes it particularly remarkable is its construction entirely of marble. It's the only stadium in the world made entirely of marble, which adds to its grandeur and historical significance. Originally built in the 4th century BC, it was reconstructed in marble by the Roman senator Herodes Atticus in 144 AD. The stadium was used for various athletic events and contests during ancient times, notably for the Panathenaic Games, which were held in honor of the goddess Athena. The stadium was refurbished to host the opening and closing ceremonies of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. Since then, it has been used for several Olympic events, including archery during the 2004 Athens Olympics. Today, the Panathenaic Stadium stands as a symbol of ancient Greek athletics and a testament to the enduring legacy of the Olympic Games.

  The Temple of Olympian Zeus, also known as the Olympieion, is an ancient temple in Athens, Greece, dedicated to Zeus, the king of the Olympian gods in Greek mythology. Construction began in the 6th century BCE during the rule of Peisistratos, a tyrant of Athens, but it was not completed until the reign of the Roman Emperor Hadrian in the 2nd century CE. The temple was massive, featuring a peripteral design with Corinthian columns. Originally, it housed a colossal gold and ivory statue of Zeus, made by the renowned sculptor Phidias. This statue was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Today, only a few of the original columns remain standing, serving as a testament to the grandeur of ancient Greek architecture. The site is a popular tourist attraction and an important archaeological landmark, offering visitors a glimpse into the rich history of Athens.
