A trip to the Tambopata National Reserve should not be missed even if you do not have a lot of time. That is why we have created this 2 day - 1 night tour to the Amazon where you will enjoy the best of the rainforest! You will be able to observe many different species of plants and animals, as well as enjoy our exciting jungle excursions.

Meeting and pickup
Pick up from airport, bus station or accommodation in Puerto Maldonado. If arriving via plane, your arrival flight must be BEFORE 1:00 PM If departing via plane, your return flight must be AFTER 3:00 PM

Day 1. Arrival in Puerto Maldonado - transfer to Lodge. Upon arrival at airport or bus station in Puerto Maldonado, we will meet you and transfer you to our office to make a registration. Your excess luggage will be stored safely in our office in Puerto Maldonado and then we will transfer to our lodge. A cool welcome drink awaits you. After a well-deserved lunch, we will start our Canopy Tower. It stands at 35 meters high and is built at the base of a massive Lupuna Tree, representing the Amazon with its enormous size. Once you’ve had your fill of the canopy walk, we will zip-line through the forest. Later we will start our next activity, where we will take our boat and stream through the Madre de Dios River in search of the Jungle caimans. They are generally on the banks of Madre de Dios River with luck we may see the capybara. Night at the lodge. **NOTE:. Arrival flight must be before 13:00hs for transportation.

1Tambopata National Reserve
Day 2: LAKE SANDOVAL – RETURN TO PUERTO MALDONADO After a great breakfast, we will take the boat to get to the control of Tambopata National Reserve Zone, after 1 and half hour walking through the rainforest we are approaching to the famous Sandoval Lake. Where we will be surrounded by immense ancient trees and entangled vines; we will be able to see multihued flower and fauna including: Giant Otters, birds, coloured butterflies, turtles, and variety of fish. We will spend few hours in canoe on this one of the most beautiful lakes in region. We will return to the lodge and take our boat back to Puerto Maldonado. Follow by transfer to airport or bus station. End of our service! **NOTE:. Return flight must be after 15:00h for transportation
