There are no better places to witness 18th-century architecture in Qatar. Visitors coming to the Zekreet Fort Qatar can get to see the remnants of old settlements in the region. Besides, here's what you need to know about the various features of Zekreet Fort. On the coastal side of the fort, one can find the debris of mandates which were rooms used in the production of 'debis, a traditional date-based food. There are about 10 cm deep parallel channels in the rooms which are connected with a canal near the entrance.
