Meeting and pickup
It's in front of the community hall in Bolungarvík, we will be the only ones there with a few buses and a team taking care of all ticket sales and questions. We will be very visible.

What to expect
Shuttle buses will operate regularly throughout the afternoon. Guests are encouraged to arrive early, as a large number of visitors is expected in Bolungarvík on this day.
Once at Bolafjall, guests will have time to enjoy the surroundings and prepare for the eclipse. After the event, organised shuttle transport will take guests back down to Bolungarvík.
This is a unique opportunity to witness one of nature’s most extraordinary events from one of Iceland’s most dramatic viewpoints.
Due to road closures and traffic control, access to Bolafjall will only be possible by organised shuttle bus.
