Experience the power of Gullfoss, one of Iceland’s most iconic waterfalls. Watch as glacial water from the Hvítá River plunges in two dramatic stages into a rugged canyon, creating mist and frequent rainbows on sunny days. Walk along designated viewing paths to take in the waterfall from different angles and enjoy the surrounding raw Icelandic landscape.
Visit the Geysir geothermal area, home to bubbling hot springs and erupting geysers. Watch Strokkur, the most active geyser in the area, erupt every few minutes, shooting hot water high into the air. Explore the surrounding landscape of steaming vents, colorful mineral deposits, and geothermal pools that showcase Iceland’s powerful volcanic activity.

Visit Kerið Crater, a striking volcanic caldera known for its vivid colors and unique shape. Walk along the crater rim for panoramic views, or follow the path down to the lake at the bottom, where deep blue water contrasts with red volcanic rock. This well-preserved crater offers a close-up look at Iceland’s volcanic landscape.
