It is one of the few golden sand beach in Iceland where you can spot adorable Seals resting on the rocks. The best time to see them is in June or July, but they are often visible throughout the year. Watch them play and relax in their natural habitat. Ýtti Tunga provides an excellent birdwatching opportunities, with various seabird soaring above the sparkling waters. Please note that there will be no swimming, we will enjoy and explore the beach on peace.
Búðakirja stands as a symbol of Iceland's spiritual and cultural history, was built in 1703 and served as a church for the local community in Búðir. Búðakirja is surrounded by breathtaking coastal beauty, with stunning views of the nearby ocean and mountains. The church's black color comes from a special treatment of tar and pitch, giving it its distinctive appearance. This attraction is only available to visit inside on Sundays, we pass on the outside every day.
Bjarnarfoss is a well-kept secret waiting to be explored. Its secluded location offers a serene escape into the heart of Iceland's wilderness. The waterfall height is approximately 80-meter (262-foot).
Svöðufoss is another hidden waterfall paradise nestled in Iceland's picturesque landscapes! Located on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. The waterfall height is approximately approximately 30 meters (98 feet).
