We offer pick-up and return to/from all hotels and apartments in the Poblado, Envigado, and Laureles. We will confirm your pick up time 24 hours prior to departure. Your host will meet you at the lobby of your hotel or apartment.
What to expect
Our day begins with a scenic drive out of Medellín, where we make a delicious local stop for a traditional Colombian snack: fresh-baked pandebono and locally brewed coffee in a countryside café, a true taste of Antioquia.
We then continue to the towering El Peñol rock, a natural wonder rising above the lakeside landscape. Climb its 702 steps to reach breathtaking 360-degree views—some of the most spectacular in South America. Your guide will be ready to assist with photos and share the rich history and stories that bring the region to life.
After conquering the rock, we explore the colorful town of Guatapé on foot. Admire its vibrant zócalos, meet locals, and immerse yourself in the charm of this lakeside gem. We’ll stop for a relaxing lunch at a restaurant of your choice (meal cost not included), then enjoy a complimentary beverage before the drive back to Medellín.
