    Þingvellir National Park is located on the northern shore of the Lake Þingvallavatn and is part of the Atlantic Ocean ridge that runs through Iceland. It takes approx. 45 min. by car to reach the park.

    The Geysir Geothermal Area is situated in the Haukadalur valley in the south of Iceland above a magma reservoir.
