Keep exploring Marble Mountain, pausing sometimes to take in the views of the river and the sea breeze. See the magnificent natural limestone formations at the enormous Heaven Cave. Snap photos with the ramshackle statues of Happy and Lady Buddhas. See incredible indigenous marble sculptures at the base of Marble Mountain by visiting the 500-year-old Carving Village.
Next, we travel to MONKEY MOUNTAIN (also called Son Tra peninsula) by driving along the coast of Da Nang. Admire breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, the Cham Islands, Da Nang City, boundless beaches, and hundreds of fishing boats. Common Macaque monkeys will be in sight. If you're lucky, you might spot the vibrant, unusual, and endangered red-shanked Douc Langur monkeys.
We take a little break to see the enormous Lady Buddha Statue, which is 68 meters (233 feet) tall, halfway up Monkey Mountain. While fishing in the deep sea, she bestows blessings and smiles upon the fishing village. Gorgeous flower and bonsai gardens can be found, along with vantage places for taking breathtaking pictures of Da Nang's beaches and city.
We will visit Marble Mountain, Monkey Mountain, and the Lady Buddha monument in the morning or afternoon. Afterward, we will enjoy a great Vietnamese lunch or supper in a nice restaurant with our local team. REMEMBER: There are two possibilities; while making a reservation, please check and select one: The cost of the 5-and-a-half-hour tour includes lunch. A 4-hour tour sans lunch is available for less money. We will transport you back to your hotel following a delicious supper.
After being picked up from Hanoi to Hoi An or Da Nang, you will go to Marble Mountain in Da Nang. There, you will explore the breathtaking Ēm Phủ cave and hear from your local guide how Vietnamese soldiers used to battle and hide throughout the conflicts. In addition, the cave served as a covert hospital for injured soldiers. To reach the top of Marble Mountain, either take the elevator or walk 150 steps. To save you time and effort while yet allowing you to witness the hidden beauty that most people overlook, an experienced guide will point you the highlights. A few centuries-old shrines, historical pagodas, and Buddhist statues will awe you with their rustic appeal. Monks and local believers frequently pray here.
