Discover two of Romania’s most unusual natural attractions on a full-day private tour from Bucharest.

Your journey begins at the impressive Unirea Salt Mine in Slănic Prahova, the largest salt mine in Europe. Descend 208 meters underground into vast chambers over 50 meters high, where you will experience a unique environment with a constant temperature of 12°C, impressive salt formations, and air rich in natural saline aerosols known for their health benefits.

After exploring the salt mine, we stop for lunch at a traditional Romanian restaurant, where you can enjoy authentic local dishes.

The tour continues to the Muddy Volcanoes (Vulcanii Noroioși), a rare natural phenomenon where underground gases push mud to the surface, forming bubbling craters and miniature volcanoes. The barren landscape resembles another planet and is perfect for memorable photos.

This impressive salt mine is renowned for its pure air, which is beneficial for respiratory conditions, as well as its spectacular size.
