Our tours begin with a visit to the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon, ancient structures dating back 2,000 years. They are astonishing for their well-preserved carvings and polychrome art, featuring five colors and exquisite reliefs depicting human sacrifice.
Visit the Moche Huacas Museum and appreciate the finest utilitarian and ritual ceramics of the Moche people, around 500 ceramics or huacos found in the excavations of the Huacas Sol and Luna since 1990. It is a new and modern museum that will help us understand the past of the Moche in northern Peru.
We visited Huanchaco Beach, unique in Peru, where tradition and culture are preserved. Lunch: fish, ceviche, or Creole cuisine (duck, goat, chicken, etc.). The fishermen are people of old who use reed boats for their daily fishing and who offer us an adventure on their rafts.
The most amazing place for all tourists is the great mud-brick city of Chan Chan, capital of the Chimú Kingdom, another important culture that flourished in Trujillo and established its center of power in Chan Chan, which covers 24 square kilometers and comprises 10 palaces and temples. We walked through the Nikan Palace, one of the 10 palaces open to the public. Take a stroll, enjoy, and experience walking through pre-Incan cities.
