Day 1: Cairo – Giza Pyramids & Sakkara & Memphis

At the next stop, you will visit the Zoser Step Pyramid in Sakkara. It is considered the oldest pyramid ever created, which was constructed for King Djoser with its six rectangular bases. Originally used as a burial ground during the old kingdom, makes this Pyramid a wonder to see and experience.

Lastly, you will visit the ancient city of Memphis, which was the main hub for commerce, trade, and religion. Today the significant remains of ancient Memphis are an indication to its amazing importance on tradition and history. Day 2: Cairo – Egyptian Museum & Old Cairo

At the first stop, you will be amazed by the Egyptian Museum containing thousands of genuine artifacts, Statues and a priceless collection of Egyptian art. The most incredible being the full exhibit of King Tutankhamun, including the gold treasures found in his tomb in 1920.

At the next stop, you will visit the Citadel of Salah El Din which was constructed by Salah El Din on the Moqattam hills in 1183 AD, created as a military post to protect Cairo from conquerors.

Then you will visit the stunning Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque which was designed by the Turkish architect Yousif Boushnaq, the designer from Istanbul constructed this amazing Mosque for Mohamed Ali, the ruler of Egypt for more than 45 years.

Lastly, a visit to Old Cairo to see the Abu Sirga Church, Hanging Church, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue.
