The day's adventure commences with a visit to the colossal Temple of Abu Simbel, an awe-inspiring creation built by Ramses II during the XIXth Dynasty. This temple, among the most illustrious of ancient Egyptian monuments, was meticulously relocated to rescue it from the inundation of the Nile waters.
