A spacious hilltop park stretching across Mt. Tateyama and Mt. Nishiyama, known as the park with the highest concentration of cherry trees in Nagasaki City (around 700 trees). From late March to early April, the slopes turn soft pink and white, and during the cherry blossom festival the trees are illuminated by lanterns, creating a magical atmosphere for evening hanami. The park also has an observation deck with views over Nagasaki city and port, making it ideal for photos, relaxed picnics, and learning about local spring customs.
A hilltop park famous for its panoramic view over central Nagasaki, often associated with night scenery and the nearby statue of Sakamoto Ryoma. In cherry blossom season, visitors can enjoy a combination of cityscape and blooming sakura, with open spaces suitable for laying out picnic sheets and enjoying bento-style hanami. Its elevated position allows guests to appreciate how Nagasaki spreads across valleys and hills while experiencing a quieter, more local style of flower viewing.
