This tour welcomes all sizes and levels of ability, regardless of whether you opt to walk or jog.
The roundtrip distance of the tour is approximately 3.3 mi/5.3 km. There are 6-9 view points both ways of the tour. At each stop, we'll rest and learn about historical landmarks. During the jogging tour, we'll also perform a light exercise during this time. The stops are a great opportunity to take photos.
The tour meets by the central fountain in Franklin Square Park. We begin with a fun ice breaker and warm up. We then head to the Ben Franklin Bridge walkway where the tour begins. We conclude the tour where it began at the fountain. We finish with a cooldown and farewell.

During this rest stop, we'll be able to view and learn about the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge (which connects Northeast Philadelphia to Palmyra, NJ) and its relation to the Ben Franklin Bridge.
As one of the most noticeable buildings when travelling across the Ben Franklin Bridge into Philadelphia, we'll view and learn about how this building impacted the United States from the time it was a newly founded nation.
During this rest stop, we'll view and learn about one of the nation's oldest universities and how it first became established.
This is one of many landmarks that we will see and learn about from atop the Benjamin Franklin Bridge. We'll discuss the importance of this ship and how it played a major role during WW2.
