At 8:00 am Tour guide will pick you up from your hotel or Nile cruise or even from the airport in Aswan to enjoy a day tour in the amazing city of Aswan Start your tour by a visit to the High Dam, The Aswan High Dam or the High Dam is a water dam on the Nile River in southern Egypt, established during the reign of Gamal Abdel Nasser, and the Soviets contributed to its construction. The dam helped a lot in controlling the flow of water and mitigating the effects of the Nile flood. Used to generate electricity in Egypt. The length of the dam is 3,600 meters, the width of the base is 980 meters, the width of the summit is 40 meters, and the height is 111 meters. Built to control the Nile River’s annual floods, the Aswan High Dam transformed Egypt’s Nile Valley and created the vast Lake Nasser. The sheer scale of the dam is impressive, and at the top, you’ll find sweeping views of the lake and surrounding desert.
