When you turn from road 1 towards Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, please continue on road 249 for about 7 km until you reach our Brú base camp, identified by a sign reading Southcoast Adventure.

What to expect

Thorsmork is a unique area between the three glaciers ; Mýrdalsjökull, Eyjafjallajökull and Tindfjallajökull and is named after Thor, the god of thunder. The area is very popular among hikers, every hiker can find a trail that is suited to his or her abilities. If you prefer not to hike, then you can relax and enjoy the tour from inside this specially customized super jeep.

At the start of the day we'll head out for Thorsmork. Getting to Thorsmork is an adventure in itself and part of the way is driven in a specially equipped vehicle that takes you into the rugged wilderness, safely crossing rough roads and glacial rivers.

A delicious lunch is included at the Volcano Huts resort, located in Húsadalur Valley in Thórsmörk.

We also offer the option of being picked up from your accommodation in postcodes 850 / 851 / 860 / 861. We will return you back to your hotel/accommodation after a fantastic day of adventure.Please contact us if you wish to arrange this.
