The tour starts from our base, Brú Base on Road 249. After a short briefing where your guide takes you through safety procedures, we dress up in a waterproof snow/whole suit and helmet and hop into our ride.

End point
This activity ends back at the meeting point.

What to expect

This tour begins from our base at Gljúfrabúi, Road 249, just 500m from Seljalandsfoss Waterfall.

We also offer the option of being picked up from your accommodation in postcodes 850 / 851 / 860 / 861. We will return you back to your hotel accommodation after a fantastic day of adventure.Please contact us if you wish to arrange this.

We show you how to play safely in the mountain terrain while you ride some amazing areas. This is not a follow-the-leader type trip; we’ll take you on an adventure. All levels of ability are welcome. Depending on the weather and ground conditions each day, our skilled guide will decide where it´s best to go on that day. By doing this, we can offer you the best day of snowmobiling adventure. So, come and join us for an adventure where you can enjoy all the beauty, which Iceland has to offer.

What to bring:

As we will be spending time in the unpredictable Icelandic weather, it is important to be prepared. We recommend warm outdoor clothing including:
• Waterproof jacket and trousers
• Warm head wear, for example, woolen hat/balaclava
• Gloves
• Appropriate hiking boots/shoes are required
• Snacks
