After gastronomy, it's time for art and culture! We will enter the center with our bikes until we reach Plaza Botero, where we will make a special stop with a "Quiz". You will answer 15 questions that will reveal fascinating information, stories and anecdotes about the city center. We will discover the statues of Master Botero, the monuments that surround them and their meanings...
We will walk along La Playa Avenue, which intersects with the commercial street Junín. Here you will feel the energy of the street vendors who fill the streets with their products, their aromas and above all the incessant singing of their voices.
We arrive at the long-awaited last stop: Comuna 13! This neighborhood, now a symbol of peace and resilience, is located in the west of the city. Once considered one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in the world, Comuna 13 was born from a population displaced from rural areas. Its inhabitants have endured numerous armed clashes and massacres involving the FARC, drug traffickers, paramilitaries and military forces, all fighting for control of the territory. We will leave the bikes and set off on foot through the alleys of Comuna 13 to discover the stories of resilience that have reborn this neighborhood. We will see how urban art has become a powerful tool for transformation and discuss the leaders who have done so much for the community. Between rappers, painters and dancers, you will feel the energy of the artists and protagonists who have transformed this place into an internationally recognized work of art.
