Walk uphill through Karlštejn village to the castle exteriors, courtyards and viewpoints. Castle interiors and guided brewery tours are optional, cost extra and require advance arrangement, subject to tickets, opening hours and the day's schedule. Small-group tours follow a set programme and require at least 4 participants to depart. Private tours offer more flexibility by prior agreement.
Small-group pickup is within central Prague; private pickup is anywhere in Prague. Expect about 3 km of walking, cobblestones, stairs and a 20-minute uphill walk to the castle.
