On the historical hill, you will have the opportunity to see the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, the Temple of the Athena Nike, the monumental gateway (Propylaea), the Erechtheum and of course the famous Parthenon, the main temple dedicated to the virgin goddess Athena.
Next, we head to the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first modern Olympic Games were held in 1896.
At Lycabettus Hill, enjoy stunning panoramic views of Athens, including landmarks like the Acropolis and the Aegean Sea. Surrounded by lush greenery, this serene spot offers a perfect place to relax, dine, and capture breathtaking photos of the city below.
We then visit the unique architectural monuments in the city center, known as the Athenian Trilogy (National Library – University – Academy of Athens).
Along the way, we head to the Ancient Agora, the heart of public life in ancient Greek cities. The area of the ancient Agora includes some of the most important monuments of Athens such as the Temple of Hephaistos, the Altar of The Twelve Gods, the Apollon Patroos, the Church of the Holy Apostles and more
Next driving alongside the National Garden, we will see the changing of the guard (Euzones) in front of the old palace, which is today Parliament House, above the central square of Athens, Syntagma and then to the Monument of the Unknown Soldier in front of the Greek Parliament, where you can take photos with the soldiers in traditional Greek attire.
Visit the majestic Temple of Olympian Zeus, once the largest temple in Greece. Dedicated to Zeus, the king of the Olympian gods, this colossal structure took over 600 years to complete. Though only a few of its towering columns remain, the temple's sheer scale and grandeur are awe-inspiring. Standing amidst these ancient ruins, you'll gain a sense of the temple's importance in ancient times and its role in the religious life of Athens.
